Job Description:
We are looking for a full-time Check In Representative to join our team as a float to cover all check-in desks across all clinic locations. As a float, you could be assigned to work at our Curve Crest Clinic (main for primary and specialty care), Lakeview Hospital Campus for Clinic Departments located there, and our clinic located in Somerset, WI. Driving between clinic locations during the work day may be required.
This position is a vital point of contact for a patient entering HealthPartners Clinic Stillwater locations. This position facilitates the check in process, including greeting, assisting and directing clinic patients/families; collection of co-pays; clerical duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and coordinating waiting room flow; performs related reception duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years in a position interacting with the public using telephones and computer.
- Meets one of the following:
- Graduate of a formal training program in medical reception, an equivalent program, or a customer service program
- Two years experience as a medical receptionist
- Two years experience in a customer service position
- One year experience using data look-up and data entry functions on a mainframe or PC based computer system
- One year customer service experience either via telephone or in-person within the last five years
- Insurance experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to organize work under pressure
- Demonstrated ability to function with multiple priorities and interruptions
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Excellent written communication skills
