JOB DESCRIPTION

Seeking a full time candidate with a minimum of 5 years of management and cheese mongering experience. Previous buying experience a plus. Responsibilities include guiding a team to continued excellence, maintaining a profitable and dynamic product mix, controlling payroll and shrink. You will report directly to the General Manager. You will manage a small team with different levels of experience. You should have an entrepreneurial spirit. Your outlooks should be customer focused, listening to customer's requests and providing great service. You are expect to lead by example.

Detail Description:

You must have at least 5 years of management or supervising experience combined with cheese mongering experience.

Recipe and product development. You should be familiar with pricing, food cost calculations and production flow management. You should be comfortable holding your team accountable for productivity expectations.

Cheese cutting and production: You should be familiar with cheese cutting, production, maintenance, storage and pricing.

Shrink Management: Upkeep of records to manage expiration dates. The right candidate will proactively manage upcoming expiration dates on products through sales, department transfers and recipes.

Product Mix Maintenance and Development: The right candidate will have knowledge of trending products on the market and in the store, evaluate sales reports of products to ensure top sellers are fully stocked and to eliminate slower selling items.

Social Media: You will be responsible for producing and posting compelling and dynamic content for the department on a weekly basis. You should be up to date on current trends.

Communication: You will be responsible for communicating respectfully with your team. Product updates, supply issues and expectations need to be updated daily.

Physical requirements: You must be capable of lifting 50 pounds. You should be comfortable standing on your feet and moving the majority of the day.

Scheduling: Your availability should include holidays, weekends, and evening shifts.

Pay and Benefits: WE offer paid time off, sick time and health benefits after a 90 day probation period. Pay is based on experience and skill set.
