Chemical Engineer Job at Quality Staffing Services
Our client, an established development and manufacturing company in Stevensville, Maryland is seeking a Chemical Engineer with scale up Lithium Ion Battery experience to develop curing products and processes to market the LIB industry and suppliers. The Chemical Engineer position requires a 4-year degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or material science at a minimum and previous work-related experience.

Salary: $80,000 - $125,000 per year, depending on experience

What you will do:
- Develop coating and curing processes to optimize performance and consistency
- Operate and become proficient in curing, mixing, application and testing equipment
- Formulate, improve, test, and commercialize curable coatings and processes and develop methodology for chemical manufacturing and quality control formulations
- Accurate documentation, equipment operation/demonstration, provide assistance to end users including sales/marketing people and participate in off-site trade shows
- Other duties as assigned
- Must have a 4-year degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or material science at a minimum or a Ph.D., MS, BS in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- Must have previous work-related experience with scale up Lithium-Ion Battery research, testing, or printing
- Strong verbal, presentation, written and collaboration skills
- Aptitude with equipment, tools and mechanical operation
- Ability to travel as needed (10%+)
