What you will do:


  • Lead and execute agrochemical formulation development efforts in the crop nutrition space
  • Identify and develop innovative technologies with differentiated performance and improved environmental impacts
  • Integrate new analytical methods into the R&D toolbox, through internal development or external collaboration
  • Draft project proposals and technical reports, in addition to written / oral summaries for non-technical audiences
  • Work closely with and provide chemistry SME to Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and Sales functions
  • Foster scientific exchange & collaboration
  • Routinely present results/data to a scientific audience
  • Safety, Behavioral Standards
    • Maintain exemplary laboratories in terms of safety and compliance and follow all personal protective equipment requirements
    • Act as a leader and example for the company’s Behavioral Standards, which focus on Safety, Integrity, Inclusion, Performance, Community, and Innovation

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline
  • 1+ year of experience in the chemical industry, with preferred focus in product & formulation development
  • 2+ years of experience in a laboratory setting, excluding course-related lab work
  • Expertise in natural products chemistry, biochemistry, organic chemistry a plus
  • Technical excellence in analytical instrumentation such as FTIR, HPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS, ICP-OES with particular emphasis on 1H,13C,31P,15N NMR, UV-vis, pH, EC and ORP
  • Scale up chemistry experience a plus
  • Exceptional communication skills, particularly in communicating complex concepts to audiences with diverse technical backgrounds
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills


Compensation & Benefits:


Salary Range:$77,920 - $116,880. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee. Details will be discussed through the application process.
