This position is responsible and held accountable for the following duties

• Direct, supervise and evaluate work activities of medical, nursing, clerical, clinical, and direct-care staff within Lighthouse's crisis centers.
• Plan, implement and administer crisis programs and services pursuant to Lighthouse's policies and procedures, Lighthouse's Mission and Core Values, contractual and statutory regulations of the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and the Oklahoma Health Care Authority.
• Establish objectives and evaluative or operational criteria for Lighthouse's crisis centers.
• Coordinate with Lighthouse's Accounting Department to conduct and administer fiscal operations, plan budgets and authorize expenditures. With Lighthouse's Accounting Department, review and analyze Lighthouse's crisis activities and data to aid in planning and risk management to improve service utilization.
• Maintain strong communication among Lighthouse's leadership, crisis center staff, and outpatient supervisors by attending leadership meetings and coordinating effective interdepartmental functions.
• Coordinate with Lighthouse's Human Resource's Department and other Lighthouse departments to direct or conduct recruitment, hire and train Lighthouse crisis staff. Establish work schedules and assignments for crisis staff according to workload, space and equipment availability.

• Coordinate with Oklahoma's state agencies and other community partners on Lighthouse's cnsis services.
• Maintain awareness of advances in mental health crisis care, substance abuse care, and state government regulations that affect Lighthouse's crisis centers.
• Monitor the use of Lighthouse crisis services within the Crisis Stabilization Units and Urgent Recovery Centers to ensure effective use of resources.
• Continuously assess the need for additional staff, equipment, and services.
• Manage changes in integrated health care crisis delivery systems such as work restructuring, technological innovations, and shifts in the focus of crisis care.
• Inspect facilities and recommend building or equipment modifications to ensure crisis service readiness and compliance with access, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Consult with medical, business, and community groups to discuss service concerns. Respond to community needs for crisis services. Enhance Lighthouse's public relations concerning crisis response services. Coordinates activities and plans that promote crisis services and crisis health programs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required: A Master's degree from an accredited university in Healthcare Administration or a related field such as mental health, substance abuse or other medical field.
Preferred: Oklahoma State Licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Behavioral Practitioner, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
In addition to the above-listed education, the following experience is required:

• At least three (3) years of experience in a professional capacity involving the delivery of clinical services.
• At least five (5) years of experience in a supervisory role or at least three (3) years in executive management.

Considerable skill in working with people; in effectively treating social, emotional and addiction problems; in expressing ideas clearly and concisely in written and oral forms; in exercising good judgment in evaluating situations and in making decisions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 per year
