Position: Chief of Staff for IWS 80IM

The Opportunity: As a leader in combat systems, you have the chance to provide oversight of administrative, financial, and operational activities serving as a Chief of Staff for the client. Organize and prioritize critical issues and required information for the Principle Assistant Program Manager (PAPM) to facilitate efficient decision making. Provide oversight and guidance to projects of high importance, plan meetings, determine the needs of the organization, and coordinate various stakeholders and team members of all levels for the development and fielding plans of the SSDS combat system. Support strategic process improvement initiatives. Coordinate and respond to data calls and RFI's. Comprehensive knowledge of the overall code function.

Basic Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience with managing projects and teams of various sizes in the Navy and with NAVSEA
• Experience with military program management, acquisition programs, maintenance programs of ships
• Experience with leading and managing complex tasks involving building briefs, tracking budgets and schedules, and working across functional communities
• Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with Navy combat systems development and fielding
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition policies and procedures
• Knowledge of SSDS
• Ability to lead a diverse team of technical, functional, and mission experts
• Ability to work autonomously
• Ability to advise on developing and tailoring technical strategies and acquisition documents
• Possession excellent oral and written communication skills

Clearance: Secret

Work Location: Hybrid/2-3 days a week at the Washington Navy Yard/Contractor Site
