Child Care Assistant- In-Home/Daycare
Daycare assistant needed. It is an in-home facility caring for 14 children ranging in age from 1 to 12. Daycare facility is open from 7am to 5pm. There are many house cleaning and organization duties on the afternoon shift when the children are napping. The scheduled hours may vary from week to week.
Responsibilities and Duties
Applicant will be working with multiple children at the same time and must be able to supervise play and introduce age appropriate activities and games. All meals are prepared and served on site so the applicant must be comfortable preparing/serving food. During nap time the responsibilities are to clean the home and prepare crafts and activities. Applicants with a strong housekeeping background are encouraged to apply. Duties for housecleaning will fall outside of just cleaning up after daycare children as our family is also looking for someone willing to take on the extra tasks of a mothers helper.
A creative person whom loves to work with children is strongly desired. You must have a strong work ethic and be team oriented.

Qualifications and Skills
All applicants must be willing to obtain or or show proof a LiveScan background check/fingerprinting and EMSA CPR certificate. The livescan must be completed before hire, the CPR can be done within first 10 days of employment. Both certifications are at your own cost.
Benefits
Daycare is closed most major holidays. One week in the summer and extra days around Christmas & Thanksgiving.
