Stepping Stones Learning Center in Neenah is looking for Full Time Teacher / Assistant Director to work in our amazing family owned child learning center. Be a team member with our office team working towards the overall program objectives of our learning center. You will be responsible for assisting the Center Director in ensuring the health, safety and quality of education for all children within the center's care. Under the direction of the Executive Director & Co-Director, you will collaborate with staff to ensure that curriculum and classroom activities are properly delivered and that the needs of the students and the goals of the center are met appropriatley. We are seeking a highly motivated, organized individual, that must pay particular attention to details. Must also have an outgoing, warm, nurturing personality that relates well with children, families, teachers and management team.

We are looking for an individual with management as well as childcare experience. Full Time Hours - this includes teaching in the classroom approximately 20-25 hours a week as well as managing/assisting in the office for the remaining weekly hours. Must be available afternoons to early evenings 5:45PM.

Duties

• Assume duties of Co-Director and Teachers a needed during their absence
• Collaborate with staff to ensure adherence to quality standards in accordance with Center guidelines and state/local requirements; implement improvements where needed.
• Maintain communication with families and employees
• Follow all center policies and state regulations
• Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

• High energy
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• A strong understanding of child development
• Excellent leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification
• Must clear full background check
