Shift: 3 eight-hour shifts working 24/5 with plenty of OT opportunity
Compensation: $22.28/hr

Principal Accountabilities: Operate processing and packaging equipment Monitor overall product quality, complete required checks as well as associated daily production paperwork Work with automated equipment to make sure they are set up properly, working well, and producing quality product. Perform changeover and machine set-up as required Package finished product in accordance with prescribed packaging procedures while producing high quality packing of finished goods; may include the assembly of cases and inserting of plastic liners Handle products, which includes loading/unloading, hanging, stacking, picking/breaking, weighing, flagging, and tagging Operate equipment associated with warehouse and tanker loadout and unloading processes, utilizing scales, pumps, pneumatic conveyors Record production data as required on log sheets or in computer systems. Complete checklists and charts as required. Contact supervisor and maintenance personnel in the event of any mechanical problems or unsafe situations/work practices with your area Operate Material handling equipment (MHE) Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Requirements: Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 55lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Ability to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written) Experience in a production and/or similar military environment Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice Display a willingness to adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a food manufacturing environment
Basic computer skills
High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience
Ability to work in elevated areas (4ft and above)
Experience using forklift or similar equipment
