Role Summary
This individual would be responsible for the financial scorecard, claims processing and dispute management across all Pure Play accounts. This person will play an integral role in helping to manage over $50MM in shortage and compliance fines annually. They will research all price and product claims, audits, as well as trade deductions to determine legitimacy and respond accordingly. They will work directly with the sales team to research root cause issues for shortages and compliance fines and then collaboratively identify process improvements with appropriate functions.
Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Maintain specific deduction targets and focus on open deduction balances on Pure Play accounts
- Oversee all deduction and repayment processing
- Track deduction and repay trends on special projects to determine course of corrective action and maintenance strategy
- Interface with eCommerce sales team to resolve deduction issues on a broad range of accounting matters
- Assist corporate auditing teams on audits conducted within eCommerce accounts
- Will learn and become proficient in several tech tools related to sales planning and deduction processing and disputes
Education and Experience
- BS/BA required
- 1-3 years’ experience in Finance/Accounting or Sales Operations, preferably in a CPG environment
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills
- Siebel experience a plus
