Title – Claims Processor
Location – San Diego, CA 92122
Duration – 2+ Months Contract
Schedule: Mon to Fri, 6.30AM to 2.30PM (40 hours/week)
Pay Range - Pay Range: $25 - $30* - (*Pay offered will be based on experience, expertise and education.)
Responsibilities:
· Process complex claims for all lines of business.
· Process and understand COB adjudication. Understand and investigate TPL claims.
· Finalize fatal electronic interface claims.
· Initial and ongoing training of Claims Department staff.
· Assist in system upgrades and implementation of new or revised software related to claims adjudication.
Education & Experience :
· High School Diploma or GED is required.
· Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
· Expert knowledge of current HMO claim processing protocols and regulatory guidelines
