    At New Jersey Manufacturers (NJM), a top-rated insurance company, we are seeking an EDM Clerk for our West Trenton office.

    Schedule: 8:00am – 4:15pm Monday – Friday


    • Manage various queues within internal systems. Effectively respond to questions, seek clarification when necessary, and keep management apprised of current or anticipated issue. Complete assigned clerical duties, including but not limited to, answering department phone calls, ordering supplies, and participating in special projects or initiatives.
    • Participate in User Acceptance Testing to ensure appropriate system functionality after program upgrades. Participate in educational or training activities as required.
    • Confirm the document type and extracted keyword values by viewing the image.
    • Assist the PIP Claims Adjuster by issuing expense payments, retrieving, and distributing PIP Payment ledgers, responding to incoming correspondence and preparing claim files for distribution to external customers.
    • Verify electronic images are legible and identify documents that need to be rescanned.
    • Research the correct line of business for certain keyword values not provided on documents.

    • Research the correct line of business for certain keyword values not provided on documents.
    • Route documents to the correct line of business using defined business processes.
    • Effectively respond to questions, seek clarification when necessary, and keep management apprised of current or anticipated issue.
    • Participate in User Acceptance Testing to ensure appropriate system functionality after program upgrades.
    • Participate in educational or training activities as required.
    • Perform other duties as requested.

    • A High School diploma or GED is required. Some college preferred.
    • Customer service experience.
    • Knowledge of Word and Excel. Strong PC skills, including accurate data entry and typing ability. Good communication skills.
    • $36,000 – $46,000. Salary is commensurate with experience and credentials.
    • Ability to work independently, and in a team environment. Ability to multi-task, prioritize work activities and use time efficiently.
