Job Description:
The Client Engagement Leader plays a key role in making an impact on our clients’ success through the delivery of our content. The role leads long-term client relationships with consulting skills and cultivates new client relationships through business development, scoping and leading strategic projects that directly advance their business.
Supported by our Client Associate team, this role facilitates Chapman & Co. content with clients, in-person and virtual, with energetic and engaging delivery. As a client-facing, delivery role the Client Engagement Leader is an ambassador for our Truly Human Leadership approach.
This role is right for you if you have experience in:
Consultative Relationship Management
  • Lead key relationships with clients and leads project teams to ensure high quality, unique and memorable experiences for client teams
  • Meet regularly with the client contacts to provide industry insights, project updates, gain feedback on deliverables, identify new expansion opportunities, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction
  • Organize industry and organizational information associated with client to help Chapman & Co. anticipate needs, prepare relevant recommendations, and provide context to connect content during client experiences.
  • Design client solutions with a Partner, and creates proposals and contracts, either solo or in collaboration with a Client Associate
  • Exhibit a proactive desire to continue to broaden and deepen business and consulting skills
Client Deliverable Leadership
  • Maintain an expert-level knowledge of the key content elements - anchor points, activity instructions, connection of content build throughout, timing and flow
  • Draw from personal leadership experiences to create and deliver stories and examples that help demonstrate the ideas, tools and principles imbedded in the content and help participants connect to them
  • Create the environment for each experience through personal connections with participants, maintains a fun, relaxed, “human” style of delivery, demonstrates vulnerability and openness by sharing relevant examples and models each activity
  • Demonstrate the ability to make adjustments when participants are not engaged, challenged by the material, or the energy in the room is low
  • Respond effectively to questions, challenges and new interpretations offered by participants
  • Balance expert knowledge of the content while also recognizing the value of the individual participant’s experience and learning discovery during the experience
  • Keep the energy, flow and activity at an optimal level for deep learning and insight
Project Leadership
  • Support (individually or with a client team) all pre-event and post-event client communication, including scheduling appropriate meetings, drafting templates for clients, evaluation summary, and follow-up activities
  • Participate in the creation of project related deliverables such as project plans, implementation plans, and communication plans
  • Ensure the services delivered to the client organization are clear, measurable and tied back to the original scope of work, celebrating successes and adapting to changes along the way
  • Maintain a current library of client materials (PPT decks, sustainment guides, learning
  • guides, client resources)
Who You Are:
  • 5 – 10 years’ experience delivering learning content to small and large groups of participants
  • 5 – 10 years’ direct leadership experience from which to draw on when facilitating
  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
  • Experience implementing organizational development solutions such as leadership development, cultural initiatives and strategic planning
  • Highly skilled in leading small and large-scale participant groups
  • Genuine empathy toward the audience of your facilitation experiences
  • Able to quickly learn and authentically deliver proprietary content
  • Can ask great questions, analyze responses and develop recommendations aligned to client needs
  • Incredible attention to detail
  • Natural tendency to be positive, creative, and curious
  • Excellent teamwork and collaborative skills
  • Based in St. Louis, MO and includes travel to client sites up to 40% of the year
