Our Presque Isle office has a full-time position available for a Client Services Navigator!

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF DEPARTMENT: The Patient Services Center (PSC) part of the Business Innovations Group, and oversight of the PSC is provided by the Director of Strategic Business Innovations. The PSC facilitates delivery of best-in-class customer experience to all customers. Androscoggin’s customers include patients and their families, Referral Partners, employees, donors and Board Members, health insurance companies, and the communities we serve.

PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Client Services Navigator (CSN) engages and collaborates with Referral Partners to secure all required information and documentation to allow for timely coordination and delivery of services to patients referred to Androscoggin. Additionally, the CSN functions as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on policies, procedures, and requirements for all Androscoggin service lines, including Home Care; Hospice Care; Palliative Care; Virtual Health; Transitional and Community Care; and other programs necessary to help patients achieve their home healthcare goals. The CSN will effectively leverage all available resources to help our customers understand and navigate the referral process by assisting customers telephonically, electronically, or by other organization-approved means. The CSN will collect, enter, and update patient information in our Electronic Medical Record database; coordinate with appropriate departments to schedule patient appointments; and perform other functions as assigned.

EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years nursing experience in the community health setting preferred; basic computer knowledge, data entry experience required. Working knowledge of medical terminology and health insurance authorization processing preferred. Ability to serve internal and external customers in a fast-paced multi-task environment.
