This hospital has served the Washington DC community for over a century and is actively seeking a Leader in Pharmacy to join the team. This facility has state-of-the-art and updated facilities and has been consistently recognized for its excellence in multiple service lines including Orthopedics, Surgery, Cancer, Women’s Health, Stroke, and Emergency Services.
This Director of Hospital Pharmacy will lead a 30-person Pharmacy team and will report to the Regional Vice President of Pharmacy who oversees all pharmacy operations throughout the region.
The Clinical Director of Pharmacy will be responsible for supervising and coordinating pharmacy services for the hospital. The Pharmacy Director will ensure the Pharmacy Department aligns with organizational regulations and standards as well as establish and manage departmental budget and cost-saving initiatives.
The Ideal Clinical Director of Hospital Pharmacy:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D.) degree
- Leadership Experience in the acute care inpatient pharmacy setting
- *PGY-1 & 2 not required*
