Position Highlights
- Reports to the market President
- Research industry and market best practices to strengthen Genesis clinical outcomes and capabilities through proactive collaboration with Clinical Reimbursement Coordinators, Nursing Home Administrators, Directors of Nursing, and the Market President
- Leverage knowledge and experience to enhance and improve nursing centers Quality Measure results to position the nursing centers for quality measure success and improved star ratings
- Encourage collaboration between nursing centers to enhance quality outcome ownership and PDPM success
- Identify MDS training needs and deliver instruction accordingly and then develop performance improvement plans to achieve appropriate quality measure, case mix, and PDPM documentation goals.
- Work side-by-side at assigned nursing centers to assist in the development and execution of plans of correction when related to MDS
- Guide, oversee and direct compliance of auditing activities and investigations related to MDS and reimbursement

Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing with a license as a Registered Nurse or equivalent professional license (i.e. Physical Therapist)
- BS or a BA degree is required
- Must have Medicare and Medicaid experience
- Extensive knowledge of MDS practices and techniques.
