We are currently seeking a highly motivated leader to oversee our Clinical Department at a growing orthopaedic , neurosurgery and physiatry practice. The right person should possess attention to detail, supervisory skills, ability to prioritize duties and delegate responsibilties, and knowledge/use of basic computer skills and/or EMR software. The position responsibilities include:

· Plans, organizes, and oversees staff to provide quality and timely patient care.

· Evaluate care and ensures customer satisfaction.

· Oversees the department’s daily staffing requirements.

· Orients clinical staff to their job responsibilities.

· Provides leadership in clinical problem solving.

· Responsible for staff recruitment and training, ensuring an orientation plan for new staff members.

· Evaluates the need for and schedules in- services/training for staff.

· Serves as a liaison with physicians and administration.

· Ensures departmental activities and records are in adherence to state and federal regulations.

· Maintains clinical skill and knowledge necessary to set standard and work in clinical areas of nursing.

· Assists with patients’ examinations and/or questions.

· Implement and interpret organizational policies and procedures, and nursing standards and regulations.

· Monitor and controls staff PTO and Overtime.

· Review Time cards and affix signature of approval.

· Attends weekly supervisors meetings. Follows up on pertinent items and requests.

· Responsible for maintaining supply inventory levels and ordering as necessary for the department.

· Responsible for determining equipment needs for the department.

· Oversight of and liaison for the DME technician.

· Maintains emergency equipment including, but not limited to, crash drug box and AED.

· Holds quarterly (minimum) staff meetings with recordable minutes.

· Oversight of the practice’s OSHA program.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

A Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training and NATA Certified or Bachelor's degree in Nursing and Pennsylvania RN license preferred. A minimum of 5 years relevant clinical experience required. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
