Highlights of the position:

  • $20 - $25 per hour for CNA's with Med Tech certification, a happy personality, good work ethic and communication skills.
  • 12-hour NIGHT shifts 7PM-7AM.
  • You only work 7 out of 14 days in a pay period!
  • Resident care is for only 6 residents in a new family care home!
  • Self scheduling allowed, only have to work every-other weekend.
  • One week paid vacation time per year accrued.
  • Not overworked with too many resident per shift, in a comfortable home environment.

Southern Magnolia Living, an assisted living family care home located in Holly Springs, is looking for awesome caregivers to join our team caring for only six seniors. Seeking qualified Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Personal Care Aide (PCA) with Med Tech (will train the right candidate) for full-time day shift position. Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or service environment preferred.
  • CNA certification preferred; PCA certificate may be accepted; Med Aid certificate (willing to train the right candidate).
  • Must have and maintain CPR and first-aid certifications.
  • Must have and maintain certifications and state licensure requirements.
  • North Carolina driver’s license.
  • Ability to work in an environment conducive to caring for seniors without posing a substantial safety or health threat to self or others.
  • Must comply with the company's requirements for immunizations, background checks, drug screenings, etc.
  • Ability to work well with others and promote a team environment while maintaining a home environment for the residents.

Job Responsibilities: Personal care, including but not limited to: Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, etc. Administering medication, taking vital signs, blood glucose monitoring, etc. Observing, documenting, and reporting any changes in residents’ conditions to administrator, SIC, and their designee. Maintaining required resident care documentation per state regulations and Southern Magnolia policies and procedures. Confidentially complying with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) guidelines.

  • Demonstrating a positive attitude at all times, as well as an ability to remain calm under stressful conditions.
  • Communicating with residents and family members in a polite, professional manner.
  • Demonstrating creativity in assisting and participating in planned and casual activities with the residents and team members.
  • Performing home management tasks, such as laundry, meal preparation, bed making, etc.
  • Assisting coworkers with other duties as needed.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned by his/her supervisor.
  • Appearing well-groomed and able to follow dress requirements.
