Royal Suites Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking full-time CNA's for the Weekend Baylor program. Qualified candidates would work two 8 hours shifts Saturday and Sunday and be paid for 40 hours total. Job Requirements

• Must have a current New Jersey Certified Nurse Assistant certification
• New Grads welcome, experience a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Graduate from an accredited nursing school.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS and WORKING CONDITIONS:

A. Stands, bends, lifts and moves intermittently during working hours.

B. Is subject to hostile and emotionally upset residents, family members, etc.

C. Attends and participates in continuing educational programs

D. May be exposed to infectious waste and diseases, conditions, etc., including AIDS and Hepatitis B viruses.

E. May be exposed to hazardous ingredients in chemicals used for cleaning.

F. May be required to lift, push, pull, and move equipment, supplies, etc.

G. May be required to assist in the evacuation of residents.

H. Is subject to frequent interruptions.

PERSONAL, INTERPERSONAL AND COMMUNICATION REQUIREMENTS

A. Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times, hostile people within the facility.

B. Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc., that are necessary to achieve the company Mission and Vision.

C. Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices, and share them with others.

D. Must be able to maintain good personnel relations and employee morale; have superior interpersonal skills.

E. Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively and tactfully with residents, personnel, visitors, general public and outside agencies.

F. Must be able to recognize those areas of operations with which you are not conversant/familiar, and report same to your supervisor in order to obtain in-servicing and/or education.

G. Must be able to communicate both upward and downward freely in the organizational chart.
