CNC Brake Press Operator Job at Gardner Manufacturing Co.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Must be able to work from drawings and prints, read and understand specifications, determine dimensions and tolerances of finished products, sequence of operations, and set up requirements.
2. Obtains prints, patterns, dies, gages, etc., from storage and mounts on machine.
3. Makes own setups. Responsible for operation, proving programs, operating controls, setting all machine functions, and inspection of parts to assure conformance will be required.
4. Must be able to read gauges, tape measure and other measurement tool
5. Perform typical press operations to produce materials according to specifications and on schedule
6. Inspect the materials produced for quality and conformity; correct any inconsistencies, document actions by completing production and quality forms.
7. Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required.
8. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
9. Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
10. Move and position loads
11. Manufacturing related experience in a press environment is a plus.
12. Performs similar and/or other incidental work of comparable or lower-level positions as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.83 - $22.57 per hour
