1st Shift Monday-Friday

2nd Shift and 4 Ten Hour Days. 2PM-12AM Monday-Thursday. Every Friday Off!!

What you will do:

Use a Manual or CNC lathe to to produce high quality custom machine parts.

• Produce production parts. Must ensure parts are being made to drawing or to CREW’s common shop tolerance and practice, in the event it is a pre-finishing operation.
• Has the ability to use Mastercam Software to program part from Solidworks model.
• Inspects part in machine and fills out inspection report and job traveler
• Review blueprint and E-drawings to detect print errors related to work being performed.
• Use E-drawings to locate pertinent job information.
• Performs the final polishing and finishing of part.
• Rustproof and wraps roll and put into crate and put cover on crate.
• Deburr finished part.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Education: High school or GED and two years technical experience. Good working knowledge of shop math. Demonstrates the ability to continuously learn to advance one’s skills and trade.

Experience: Two (2) years minimum manual or CNC lathe work experience or related machine-shop work. Computer literate with MicroSoft software; has had experience and training using MasterCam software or similar type CAD software.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

Has the ability to use measuring instruments a with a high degree of accuracy; can write CNC G-code program from scratch and follow tool paths; demonstrates the ability to use MasterCam software and SolidWorks drawing models to make efficient lathe programs that are error free. Be good at problem solving.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.75 - $26.18 per hour
