CNC Machinist - $25-$35

Local & International Manufacturing company in Sherwood & Hillsboro is seeking experienced CNC machine operators and machinists to assist in creating new forklift attachments, heavy lift machines, hay baling equipment, logging and recycling equipment for military & maritime operations, semiconductor & high tech equipment in a clean temperature-controlled environment. We are looking for experienced individuals who would like to expand their experience into this growing high-tech field for CNC Operators and Machinists.

Job Description:

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Set up / Operate parts to inch and metric drawing specifications
• Use schematics and instructions to produce parts
• Minor programing at the machine level
• Minor preventative maintenance
• Evaluate and justify new tooling and machine processes if needed
• Communicate issues relating to work orders, programming errors, and material shortages

Qualifications, Requirements, and/or Experience

• 2-3 years setup & operate CNC Machine
• Experience running CNC Lathe, Mill or Router
• Proficient math skills
• Good eye hand coordination with attention to detail
• Ability to read drawings
• Fraction Conversion
• Ability to follow instructions and specifications
• Knowledge of various cutting tools, measuring tools, and deburring tools
• G or M code experience for Mill/Lathe
• GD&T codes on blueprints
