Nexeo has multiple openings for Machinists in the Cache Valley area. Our ideal candidate is able to read blueprints, learn new software, and have strong attention to detail. They will be responsible for cutting and preparing material, washing parts, inspecting products, and helping in the shop. Pay ranges from $16 to $30 based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate machine tools and run machine to assure efficiency
• Anticipate needs to assure maximum run time
• Understand specifications and follow instructions well
• Modify parts and materials to improve overall production
• Test completed equipment and product to detect and remove defects
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery

​Qualifications

• Previous experience or familiarity with CNC machinery
• Familiarity machine and tool setup (tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts, and precision measuring tools.
• Ability to understand documents, procedures and instructions
• Great communication skills both verbal and written
• Handle heavy physical work load; may include standing, walking, sit/climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, frequently lift and/or move material up to 75 pounds.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Strong attention to detail and be self-driven
• Must be adaptable with the desire to -learn and grow

Pay

$16 to $30 an hour, depending on experience.
