Commercial Refrigeration Project Manager

Responsibilities
- Project Coordinator, Installation Tech, and estimator.
- Manage cost, schedule, and scope multiple projects.
- Key customer point of contact - manage customer expectations and ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Responsible to ensure projects meet all requirements, are delivered on time, and finish at or below budget.
- Plan, schedule, manage and coordinate all aspects of the project life cycle. This includes engineering design, subcontracts procurement, manufacturing, assembly, installation, testing, and project closure.
- The central point of contact between the customer and the project team.
- Work laterally across the organization with department leads and employees.
- Work closely with all functional groups (sales, engineering, quality, manufacturing, installers) to generate, monitor & control schedules, budgets & requirements.
- Prioritize project tasks based on capacity, due dates & critical path.
- Weekly reporting relative to schedule, cost, scope, and workload.
- Able to read blueprints or construction drawings for projects and sort out the particular scope of work on project.
- Estimating projects and keeping to bidding deadlines.
Qualifications
- BA/BS Required
- At least 15+ years as a refrigeration contractor or service technician, or background in commercial refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, control panels, and dehumidification controls.
- At least 5 years of business experience, working for a walk-in manufacturing company, coordinating projects/working with engineers.
- Coursework/experience with business ethics, accounting, and leadership.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to direct the activities of team members and update management on the progress of the project.
- Strong analytical skills and decision-making abilities when leading a group.
- Outstanding organizational skills to break down the goal of a project into activities and manage conflict, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in managing word, PDF, and excel programs.

Pay: $97,253.00 - $105,920.00 per year
