Job Summary: We are looking for a Sales Consultant for our Commercial Truck Center to join our growing team! The right candidate will be ambitious, have excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to meet and exceed goals. Day-to-day tasks will include developing client relationships and providing product solutions that best meet our customer's needs.

Responsibilities

• Selling new and used commercial vehicles, body upfits, and aftermarket products to new and existing customers
• Approaching, greeting, and offering assistance or direction to any customer, commercial or retail, who enters the dealership or sales lot
• Assisting customers in selecting a vehicle that best suits their needs by asking the right questions and listening carefully to their responses
• Offering test drives to all prospects and following dealership procedures to obtain the proper identification from customer prior to test drive
• Satisfying the transportation needs of new vehicle purchasers by ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork
• Understanding the federal, state, and local laws which govern automotive sales and reviewing all paperwork related to the transaction
• Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers
• Establishing good working relationships with the manufacturers
• Attending product and sales training as well as sales meetings as requested
• Representing the C. Harper Auto Group brand name at all times by maintaining a professional appearance and serving as the public relations liaison for the dealership
• Exhibiting a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction
• Assisting sales team from other C. Harper Auto Group locations with commercial truck quoting and spec'ing of vehicles to properly fit their customers' needs
• Maintains a professional business appearance as determined by dealership management in accordance with company policies
