COMMUNICATIONS & SUPPORT COORDINATOR – PRO-NE
Position Description

The Professional Remodeling Organization - New England, Inc (PRO-NE) is a non-profit 501(c)6 membership association comprised of nearly 200 residential remodeling businesses in the region. The association is dedicated to connecting and educating members through various programs, including membership meetings, an awards gala, roundtable discussions, workforce development programs, and other activities.

Seeking a part-time, social media savvy marketing professional with an eye for design to work with a small local non-profit association. The Communication & Support Coordinator is the heart of marketing for PRO-NE, and they support the organization's mission through organizational activities. The position reports to the Executive Director or the Board President.

● Hours: Flexible. Part-time. 20-25 hours weekly to start. Plus 1-2 evenings monthly.
● Location: Work from home with occasional meetings and events in Eastern MA. Dates/times agreed upon in advance.
● Requirements: Access to a computer with internet and telephone.
● Reports to: Executive Director
● Details: This is an AT-WILL position. Neither this document nor any other, shall constitute an employment contract between PRO New England and the employee.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES, AND EXPERIENCE

● Create Electronic Communications Using an Email Marketing System
● Post and Manage Social Media Content; Develop Print Marketing Materials
● Generate and Maintain the Website
● Create and Distribute Bimonthly Newsletters; Generate Website Traffic Reports
● Act as a Liaison with Website Developers and SEO Providers
● Create and Distribute Press Releases
● Use and administer Google Workspace
● Qualifications and Skills: Background in Marketing or Graphic Design (2-3 Years Experience)

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a similar field preferred
● Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Familiarity with Email Marketing

Systems (Mail Chimp or Constant Contact) Basic knowledge of WordPress or similar website platforms

● Experience with video and photography is a plus
● Strong knowledge of media types, file types, standards, and documentation
● Social media savvy, including experience with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn
● Knowledge of SEO a plus
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Strong interpersonal skills. Comfortable doing outreach, networking, and relationship development

Ability to complete tasks without on-site supervision
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Professional and self-motivated, with time management skills
● Work with the Director of Programs and Membership to support onsite meetings and events
● Other tasks as assigned

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
