POSITION: Community Mental Health Worker / Individualized Home Support (IHS)
TYPE: Full-Time and Part-Time
SHIFTS: Monday – Friday, Evenings, Weekends, You create your own schedule!
LOCATION: Dakota County, Hennepin County, Ramsey County.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: As a community-based Mental Health Worker you will manage a caseload of persons with a diagnosis of Mental Illness and/or Brain Injuries. You will assist those individuals at their homes or locations within the community with RTI provided goal-based and person-centered individualized home support services. This role is highly rewarding if you are upbeat, patient, have a passion for the field of psychology and find joy in seeing growth and progress in the individuals we serve. REQUIREMENTS:
- Have a passion for psychology and improving the lives of the individuals we serve.
- Be able to pass a Department of Human Services background check.
- Work in a person-centered approach.
- Organize and work independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A valid driver’s license and have a satisfactory driving record.
- Access to a working vehicle, and auto insurance for yourself and the vehicle.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs. or more.
PREFERED EXPERIENCE: A year of working with persons diagnosed with severe & persistent mental illness (SPMI), Developmental Disabilities, Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI), Trauma Histories, and Chemical Dependency (CD) Histories. Experience working within a psychology based profession.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: High School or equivalent.
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, or a related field.
