Overview:

Salary range: $75,000 - $95,000 annually.


The Compensation Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing and administering Holland’s compensation programs to align with the organization’s compensation philosophy and recruitment and retention efforts. The individual in this position works independently with moderate decision-making authority. The Compensation Analyst promotes compliant and transparent compensation practices and manages corporate communications related to compensation in accordance with Holland Partner Group’s Core Values.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Director of Human Resources to develop and maintain compensation structure and job architecture for multi-state organization.
  • Analyze internal and external data to develop, modify and review compensation ranges, including participation in and analysis of various salary surveys.
  • Support employees, managers and Human Resources team related to compensation programs and practices.
  • Evaluate all new positions and reclassification requests to determine appropriate salary, grade, FLSA status and title.
  • Develop and maintain company bonus and commission programs.
  • Update Enterprise (Adaptive) planning software with compensation information
  • Administer short and long-term incentive programs including recordkeeping, reporting and reconciliation.
  • Partner with managers to create and update job descriptions ensuring they are measurable and an accurate reflection of duties.
  • Conduct annual cost of labor and living analysis to determine whether positions are competitive in labor markets.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to determine the effectiveness and appropriateness of compensation practices.
  • Assist the Director of Human Resources with special compensation analysis and projects.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to develop job postings and review job classifications.
  • Support the development of annual salary programs and manage the annual merit review process.
  • Monitor trends and changes in employee legislation and make recommendations for changes to ensure company practices are compliant with federal, state and local legislation.
  • Develop and conduct compensation training and communication programs for managers to ensure understanding and compliant practices.
  • Perform pay equity analysis annually and as needed.
  • Represent Holland Partner Group in a professional manner at all times.
  • Perform all other duties as directed and assist the overall team effort in any way possible.
Qualifications:
Education : High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business or related field preferred.

Experience
: Minimum three years’ experience in salary administration and job evaluation required. Project management and compensation program architecture experience preferred. Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
  • Thorough knowledge of job classification, FLSA and wage and hour laws.
  • Knowledge of external survey sources and tools.
  • Demonstrated high level of skill in both verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees while inspiring respect and credibility.
  • Ability to accurately perform multiple tasks in a complex and fast-paced operating environment while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Self-starter who demonstrates high level of initiative.
  • Advanced proficiency in Office 365, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.
Attendance : This full-time position is exempt and requires the ability to be present and available during business hours to meet company and department needs. Additional hours or flexible schedule may be required.

This position also requires:
  • Travel and overnight stays.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
  • Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally.
