Summary

North Fork Builders, a Bozeman, Montana based general contractor, is currently hiring a Concrete Finisher to join our team.

At North Fork, we are committed to excellent craftsmanship and collaboration with our clients to create thoughtfully designed and strategically executed residential and commercial buildings. We are looking for a Concrete Finisher who is proficient in finishing all kinds of flatwork including, but not limited to, curb and gutter, sidewalks, stamped concrete and large basement floors. Work will also include some structural concrete, including walls and beams.

To be successful in this position you must be able to work effectively in a team environment, demonstrate problem-solving skills and maintain a safe work environment.

Location

Our main office is located in Bozeman, MT and our concrete division is currently based out of Big Timber, MT. Our concrete crew currently covers projects from Big Sky to Big Timber.

Responsibilities & Tasks

• Setting forms.
• Inspecting surfaces for pouring issues.
• Directing casting of concrete with the truck driver.
• Pouring, smoothing and leveling using hand and power tools.
• Monitoring effects of weather on the curing process.
• Applying sealing and hardening components.
• Polishing surfaces.
• Other daily tasks as needed

Requirement & Skills

• Proven experience working as a Concrete Finisher or Concrete Laborer.
• Valid drivers license.
• Ability to stand and kneel for long periods.
• Ability to lift heavy materials.
• Knowledge of hand-held power tools including vibrators, polishers, cutting saws and edging tools.
