  • Lockheed Martin is seeking a Configuration Analyst to join our Configuration Data Management Team in Orlando, FL.
  • In this exciting and mission critical role the Configuration Analyst will have the opportunity to perform all facets of configuration data management (CDM).
  • The analyst will have the opportunity to participate in Configuration Change Board meetings and will help review and analyze engineering change data.
  • The analyst will have the opportunity to review the Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) for assigned contracts.
  • On a day-to-day basis the analyst will load the CDRL tracking tool with all required submittals, update and maintain the program CDRL submittal website, issue a thirty-sixty-ninety day data delivery schedules, and review contract schedules for changes to event dates tied to deliverables.
  • The analyst will have the opportunity to review and update Configuration Status Accounting using the SAP System to track configuration requirements.
  • The ideal candidate will be a self-starter capable of effectively managing multiple tasks, with the ability to adapt and incorporate changes as they occur.
  • The analyst will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross functional teams including Quality, Program Management, Engineering, Planning, and Production, as well as external customers.

Orlando is home to Walt Disney World, Universal Studios Florida, and SeaWorld. Orlando is also home to the second largest University in the US, the University of Central Florida (UCF). Where can you get to from Orlando? Orlando is about an hour's drive from Cocoa Beach and the "space coast" to include NASA and the Kennedy Space Center. Tampa is about 1.5 hours from Orlando. West Palm Beach is about 2.5 hours to the south and Jacksonville is about 2 hours to the northeast. Atlanta, GA is 6 hours to the northwest.

Basic Qualifications:
  • An active Secret Clearance with 6-year background investigation is required.
  • A strong interest in configuration management is required.
  • Sufficient technical skills to review and interpret technical requirements are required.
  • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, documents, and schematics is required.
  • The ability to multitask is required.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills are required.
  • Strong collaboration skills are required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Access) is required.
Desired Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education is desired.
  • Prior experience with configuration management is desired.
  • Familiarity with formatting and handling of documentation is desired.
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings and documentation is desired.
  • Previous Experience with SAP would be a plus.
  • Previous Experience with Windchill PLM is desired.
  • Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and capable of creating status and tracking reports for management and customers.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with an investigation within 6 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
