Strategic Insight, Ltd. is seeking a Congressional Support Analyst - Senior Level (Staff Associate) to support our F-35 JPO government client. The location of this great career opportunity is Arlington, VA.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide support to the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) Legislative Liaison activity.
• Interact and coordinate across the F-35 enterprise to prepare Program Executive Officer, Service Acquisition Executive, Defense Acquisition Executive, Services Chiefs and Secretaries for F-35 related congressional and parliamentary engagements and hearings, whether of the United States or a Partner Nation.
• Develop oral and written statements, briefings, papers, and responses to queries from Congress and committee professional staffs.

Success for working in this position requires:

• Experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline; and included in the eight years, there must be at least four years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis; and included in four years, there must be two years of weapon systems and components development.
• Experience in program/project status and schedules.
• Knowledge of Service and OSD policy and documentation related to Planning Programming Budgeting System (PPBS), Life cycle management of military acquisition programs (as specified in the DoD 5000 series).
• Knowledge of and experience dealing with DoD reporting tools and major reports
• Knowledge of the F-35 JPO Program and organization.
• Excellent communication, customer service and telephone skills and work with others at all levels, as a team member.
• Strong problem solving and strategic planning skills.
• High degree of attention to detail and accuracy in completing assignments, including, proof reading, grammar, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.

Education and Experience:

• MA or a Bachelor s Degree plus 4 years additional related work experience.
• 10 years of congressional support analysis experience.
