The nation's largest and fastest growing swimming pool builder, has an opportunity for immediate employment for a Construction Manager.

To be considered for this position, you must have the ability to efficiently manage progress of multiple projects and subcontractors simultaneously in a professional manor to ensure project deadlines are met with the expectation of high-quality standards and customer satisfaction within the established budget.

A salary with incentives and bonuses is available for the right candidate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Construction:

• Strong knowledge of construction
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously from start to completion
• Efficiently plan/schedule routes to visit multiple sites per day and the attendance of crews on sites
• Complete construction checklists throughout the progress of the project to turn into the office
• Manage and communicate with crews
• Inspect work progress/completion by crews, identify potential problems in the field, and recommend solutions to guarantee quality standards are met; keep management and office staff informed of any construction issues
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of project status/phases for each assigned job to convey to office team
• Daily Update of Project Management Software across all projects.
• Monitor for discrepancies in invoices and estimates.
• Supervise phases of project to ensure accuracy of current plans and contract adherence
• Continual quality control of construction site and phases.
• Communicate and manage expectations with clients
• Quote pricing for project upgrades and execute addendums for any changes
• Assure that any change orders will not adversely affect the job. (i.e. changes to coping affect decking by means of bond beam height)
• Collect payments from customers
• Produce a positive attitude and relationship with team, Trade Partners, and crews
• Assist in any additional duties possibly in other territories, as needed

Management:

• Resource planning
• Subcontractor procurement & negotiation
• Vendor Agreement
• Construction Team training
• Develop construction operations team
• Job Costing & Budgeting

Qualification Requirements:

• 5 or more years of Construction Management experience, pool construction preferred
• 3 or more years Project Management experience
• Estimating & Cost Management experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Valid Drivers License
