What your daily responsibilities look like:

  • Ground-up construction a must (This is new building construction so a well-rounded construction professional will suit the role.)
  • Pharmaceutical construction experience a PLUS
  • Construction Manager / Subcontractor safety management experience preferred
  • Safety program development and implementation
  • Hazardous work permit supervision
  • High risk work experience- hot work, elevated work, hazardous energy control / LOTO, line break, core drilling, crane lifts, etc.
  • Pre-Task Planning (JSAs, Safety Plans of Action - "SPAs", Crane Lift Plans, etc.)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, customer-facing position
  • Conduct routine (daily and weekly) jobsite safety inspections

What you need to succeed in this role:

  • B.S. in Occupational Safety or equivalent work experience with an OSHA Outreach Construction Training Certification
  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA 1926 construction and 1910 general industry standards and best practices
  • Effective organizational, communication and training skills a must
  • Experience in maintaining OSHA requirements for multiple employer worksites
  • OSHA Outreach Construction Training Certification is highly desirable
  • Certifications as GSP, CHST, STSC are preferred
  • Ability to physically perform the duties and work in any type of environmental conditions

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
