My client is an established, well-respected specialist full-service general contractor based out of Fort Myers, FL. They are looking for a Construction Superintendent with experience in Multifamily or luxury custom home construction to work on a 26-story Luxury condo build in Naples. The project has the structure up and the roof on; the role will be to trim it.

The roles and responsibilities of the Superintendent role:

Initially working on a 3-story, 26-unit Luxury condo in Naples.

They would take somebody on contract or permanent.

Working as the number one on each site, you will manage the project

Ensure the programme come in on time and within budget

Ensuring Subs are working on scheduling and with health and safety guidelines.

Liaising with local authorities.

Liaising with the client and ensuring an excellent customer experience is given.

Managing all on-site staff.

Working on Projects within the South West of Florida with occasional projects away from this area.

Responsible for general contracts, subcontract documents, drawings, and specifications.

Check and verify subcontractor layout to ensure compliance with established control, line, and grade.

Monitor production and record rates in the logbook to be used for future scheduling.

Maintain a set of production documents and update them daily so an accurate picture of work in place is consistently maintained.

Monitor job progress on-site, checking all work to ensure compliance with contract documents and the Quality Control Program.

Plan and prepare documentation to facilitate the close-out process.

Maintain and review the safety requirements for the Project and resolve or report deficiencies.

Reporting to a Project Manager.

Ensuring all work is completed on time and within budget.

Ensuring all health and safety is adhered to and implemented.

Liaising with the client and other management teams.

Liaising with preconstruction.

The Ideal Site Superintendent will have the following:

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Extensive experience in Multi-family or Luxury custom home construction

Experience in managing projects around $10 million

Ideally, be commutable to Fort Myers, FL or willing to relocate from within Florida

Strong organisational skills.

Possess a strong sense of urgency.

Strong communication skills.

The ability to become part of a team.

Strong time management and ability to multi-task.

The Benefits of the Site Superintendent role:

$110k- $125k Permanent salary

$125k-$150k contract
