Position Summary

The Content Specialist is responsible for curating, optimizing, publishing and managing high-quality content for a variety of web, mobile and other platforms.

Job Duties/Tasks

• Responsible for developing new content pages and making content updates within the enterprise content management system (CMS) as assigned. Basic HTML as plus.
• Diverse skill set of web content management, writing, editing, layout/design, email marketing, social media, and project coordination
• Coordinates with writers, producers, and other contributors to the website to select, edit and integrate content and ensure consistency in style, tone, and quality of the organization's site. Working with established branding and style guidelines and objectives.
• Responsible for developing new content pages and making content updates within the enterprise content management system (CMS) as assigned.
• Ensures attention to detail that all grammar, spelling, flow, tone, and style are appropriate.
• Analyzes content needs and studies content consumption data to optimize content and develop a schedule for updates, archiving, and ongoing production of content.
• Create and maintain digital analytics - Google Analytics a plus – to monitor website performance
• Monitors and reports for broken links, accessibility issues, redirects, etc.
• Coordinates and adheres to a standard workflow including research, submission, content selection, editing, and publishing.
• Incorporates search engine optimization best practices in all materials produced.
• Help ensure websites meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
• Perform maintenance, production updates, and enhancements to existing websites, including navigation, image assets & content areas

Qualifications

• Typically requires 5 -7 years of related experience.
• Experienced using a variety of content-management tools – Optimizely/EpiServer a plus
• Experience with SEO & web analytics
• Experience with Digital Asset Mgmt. System (DAM), Bynder a plus
• Forward-thinking, well-organized, and high attention to detail
• QA testing and troubleshooting a plus
• UX/UI experience a plus
• WordPress a plus
• Experience with enterprise level Email Marketing Service Provider (ESP) platforms, Acoustic a plus
