TK Elevator Corporation is seeking a Contract Analyst in Atlanta, GA.
Responsible for reviewing and negotiating NI/Mod Contract documents for execution; includes maintaining specified turn-around time in contract tracking system, administrative tasks for paperwork, issuing certificates of insurance, and bonds. Must establish and maintain a professional rapport through timely response to customers, both internal and external, along with remaining team of Contract Analysts.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Use high level analytical skills and/or abilities to review customer contracts, terms, and general conditions for legal interpretation. Prepare amendments/redlines incorporating business/judgments decisions into language satisfactory to protect TKE interests. Negotiate final contract terms, conditions, and requirements with customer through to execution.
  • Process insurance certificates for NIMOD contracts
  • Issue-spotting. Timely and effectively provide solutions along with educating branch personnel regarding certain legal matters that may impact company operations.
  • Negotiate legal terms and conditions independently. Work with the field to qualify scope of work requirements. Provide guidance and alternative contract language to branch personnel or customer on legal matters that may impact company operations.
  • Follow modification requests through to contract execution.
  • Comply with established turn-around time of contract review (SLA)
  • Coordinate approvals driven by Sales from business leaders as required by approval matrix
  • Obtain bonds, insurance requirements, and other similar items in compliance with contract requirements.
  • Update contractual information in various systems to flow through cross functional teams
  • Establish standard terms and conditions with continuous customers, including providing/noting alternative contract language for department manual.
  • Performs other functions as necessary.

Who we are looking for
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Three or more years work experience in contract management, analysis, or administration
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training in contract drafting and contract management
  • Legal background welcome but not required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Functional understanding of indemnity, insurance, and other legal terms
  • Ability to synthesize complex verbal and written instructions
  • Basic understanding of data processing applications
  • High degree of concentration and attention to detail
  • Construction-related industry experience in an analyst or contract administration role is a plus
