The **Contracts Analyst/Coordinator** is primarily responsible for the systematic daily delivery of outgoing, third-party Commercial trade confirmations which require strong adherence to processes and controls that safeguard Commercial’s business transactions. The role requires close collaboration with Commercial Business Services’ (CBS) functions, the Commercial Front office (traders and schedulers) and various Commercial support groups. The Analyst/Coordinator will complete daily, time-sensitive tasks in support of the Commercial, Compliance and Legal organizations. This position provides exposure to the Commercial Business Services’ department, allowing individuals that demonstrate aptitude and initiative, increased opportunities for advancement.

  • *Responsibilities May Include**

+ Supporting multiple trade applications (SAP and Allegro)

+ Resolving broker and counterparty discrepancies created from trade activity

+ Developing and delivering system and process training

+ Performing daily tasks (e.g., data mapping, system configuration, data gathering)

+ Extracting and analyzing data for specific Commercial function(s)

+ Managing Commercial business administrative tasks

+ Creating/maintaining system-specific data

+ Performing error analysis and corrections

+ Assisting with the testing of new system implementations, upgrades, and configuration modifications

+ Improving contract-relevant reporting

+ Participating on business improvement teams to represent Contracts’ function

+ Collaborating with the Commercial Business Continuity Plan (BCP) team

+ Occasionally working non-standard hours, including weekends and holidays

  • *Required Qualifications**

+ Bachelor’s degree

+ Legally authorized to work in the job posting country

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word

  • *Preferred Qualifications**

+ 2+ years in a Commercial or a Commercial supporting job function/role

+ Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills

+ System aptitude of SAP, SharePoint, Allegro and/or LiveLink

+ Ability to manage responsibilities on multiple tasks simultaneously

+ Ability to interact effectively with many stakeholders across one or multiple functional areas

+ Strong attention to details

+ Excellent communication skills, both oral and written to ensure common understanding

+ Demonstrate a high level of personal initiative and accountability

+ Self-starter with the ability to recommend changes to improve processes resulting in greater efficiencies

+ Ability to adapt to quickly evolving requirements

+ Ability to deliver on commitments and achieve results

+ Task oriented/process driven

The **Commercial organization** works to effectively leverage assets and market knowledge to create additional value within the risk parameters of the Company. We do this by maximizing general interest profitability, enhancing return on capital employed by successfully partnering with the Refining, Transportation and Marketing functions to ensure Value Chain Integration. Our truck and rail fleets support our feedstock and distribution operations. Rail movements are provided via a fleet of more than 10,000 owned and leased rail cars. Truck movements are provided through numerous third-party trucking companies, as well as through our 100 percent-owned subsidiary, Sentinel Transportation LLC.
