About this opportunity
Responsibilities of this position include converting machine set up, operation, and leadership of machine teams while ensuring product is made to required specifications by adjusting the machine settings as needed.
Monday thru Friday 1st Shift (7am to 3pm)

What you will do*

• Set up and safe operation of converting machine by troubleshooting and resolving mechanical problems of the machine
• Continuously monitor machine operation for efficiency, quality, and to minimize waste
• Provide leadership, expertise, and training to other team members
• Maintain accurate production records with legible production logs completed on time
• Ensure bag/pouch quality meet required specifications
• Follow safety and quality guidelines as trained
• Communicates and interacts effectively with other departments

What you have to offer

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 1+ years operating a bag/pouch converting machine, preferred
• 2+ years production experience

Additional details

• Overtime may be required during heavy volume seasons
• This is a manufacturing environment requiring wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and steel toe-covered shoes (provided by TC Lenexa), as well as hearing protection
• Within this manufacturing environment, inks and solvents often create a strong odor
