JOB DESCRIPTION:

Follows the established standardized recipes and monitors food production and waste.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparation of food for residents and staff
• Distributes appropriate quantities of food prepared to meet menu and particular diet specifications
• Uses portion control to serve residents appropriately.
• Additional duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Two to three years of food preparation experience preferred
• Long-term care experience preferred
• Must be flexible, punctual, professional, and reliable
• Strong customer service skills and compassion
