Cook for Childcare Center Job at All About Kids Daycare
We are hiring for a cook for our childcare center. All of our meals are made from scratch here at the center. On a typical day the cook is preparing food for around 50-70 people. The menus are already done and planned out for the week. A few examples of meals we serve are: sandwiches, casseroles, hot dogs, "homemade lunchables", soups, fruits, vegetables, etc. All the meals are fairly easy to prepare. This job includes breakfast cleanup, preperation and serving of lunch, and preperation of afternoon snack. The hours are usually around 8am-1or 2 pm. There is the option for more hours by staying and covering a couple teacher's breaks in the afternoon if interested. This individual does not have to be a professional cook to be able to do this job. We will also train this individual on our meals.
There are a few qualifications that would need to be done within the first 30 days to meet KDHE requirements for a Childcare center cook. These would all be gone over in the interview process.
