Cook | Memorial Meals Job at Memorial Hospital of Union County
Operates/utilizes kitchen equipment (e.g., oven, steam table, etc.); and utensils (e.g. pots, pans, knives, etc.) to prepare, portion, and serve food (e.g. meats, vegetables, soups, etc.) for all food service lines. Interacts with staff to prepare, portion, and serve food. Washes/sanitizes utensils and appliances after use. Relocates food, supplies, and dishes to designated areas. Follows general instructions; interprets menus. Exhibits behaviors reflective of Memorial’s core values: Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence, and Service. Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance. Attends all mandatory education and in-services (i.e., team training, safety, infection control, etc.); completes mandatory health requirements.
Requirements
One (1) year experience in institutional food preparation experience.
