We are seeking talented, kindhearted cooks to join our kitchen team heading in to 2023.

Perennial on Lockwood is an independently owned brewery and brewpub located in Webster Groves, MO. A collaboration between Perennial Artisan Ales and Olive + Oak, Perennial on Lockwood brews its beers on site while operating a from-scratch kitchen for lunch and dinner 7 days a week.

Our lunch and dinner menus are somewhere in between casual and refined brewpub fare. Certain staples of ours like house-made pretzels, charcuterie boards, and sandwiches are offered year-round, while we also enjoy adding seasonal specials throughout the year. Members of the culinary team at Perennial on Lockwood will ideally have a background in both prep cooking and line cooking, as we prefer our cooks to be flexible and well-rounded depending on our needs. Typical responsibilities for cooks at Perennial on Lockwood include:

• 
  Working the prep station, completing prep tasks with other members of the team
• Working the line for lunch or dinner service, either on pantry/fry or grill/sauté
• Keeping the kitchen area tidy and organized during and after service
• Maintaining open communication with team members
• Upholding the highest standards of safety and culinary care
• Assisting with the reception and organization of food deliveries

Daytime and nighttime hours are both available, and we ideally prefer our team members to work a mixture of both. Weekend availability is strongly preferred for this position. Daytime hours typically run from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., while nighttime hours tend to run from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Pay for this position will be in the range of $16.00 to $20.00 per hour based on relevant professional experience and availability.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Must be able to commute to Webster Groves, MO
• Must be able to work extended periods of time while standing
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of experience cooking in a full-service, from-scratch kitchen
• Experience on a variety of stations, e.g. prep, pantry, fry, grill, sauté
