The Marine Dispatcher Coordinator responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide marine dispatch support for Operations, Personnel, and Maintenance.

• Manage operational concerns reported by vessel crews by assisting with the solutions and routing to appropriate departments, if needed.

• Perform customer notifications as required.

• Accurately review daily boat logs, issue purchase orders, and upload documents using company software system.

• Accurately close out all jobs and prepare documents for invoicing.

• Maintain meticulous customer records and keep customers accurately informed of the status of vessels their assigned vessels via email and phone.

• Assist Operations, Personnel, and Maintenance on a 12/hour night shift, 7/days per week basis on a 7on/7off rotation or available for consultation when on scheduled days off.

• Properly coordinate assist boats, 3rd party Tankerman, fleeting, and fuel / lube purchases.

• Provide support for all divisions on an as needed basis.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Maritime, or technical field is preferred.

• 3+ years’ experience in dispatch operations or related field is preferred.

• Proven work knowledge of dispatch operations is preferred.

• Proven work knowledge of marine vessel operations is preferred.
• The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, such as, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical solutions is required.

• Basic computer skills such as: opening, creating and updating content in MS Word documents and Excel spreadsheets is preferred.

• Ability to assume responsibility, be flexible, perform duties and handle multiple tasks under stressful conditions is required.

• The ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with other individuals, teams, customers, and stakeholders of the business, at various levels of the organization, in a business like and professional manner is required.

• The ability to modify communication style in order to influence, persuade, negotiate, and engage all parties according to the audience and circumstance is required.

• Takes initiative and is proactive in addressing issues. Quickly and efficiently completes tasks.

• The ability to demonstrate conscientiousness, dependability and commitment to the role, team and company is required.

• The ability to assist operations on a 12/hour, 7/days per week basis or available for consultation when on scheduled days off is required.

• The ability to travel domestically up-to 10% of the time is required.

• Ability to work a shift schedule 7 nights on/7 nights off.
