Coordinator - Technical Support Job at Matthews Environmental Solutions
POSITION SUMMARY
The Coordinator – Technical Support is responsible for supporting funeral homes and crematories that are subscribed to our M-Pyre system. The M-pyre system is our most advanced system and allows the Matthews support team to log in to crematory machines from anywhere in the world. We are looking for individuals who have operated cremators, worked in the deathcare industry or have keen interest in beginning their careers in this industry.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond to "Instant Support" requests sent directly from clients that are subscribed to the M-pyre system. These requests include monitoring, answering operational questions and troubleshooting issues with their equipment.
- Program/calibrate components that will be sent to clients.
- Walk clients through replacing and calibrating components, via phone, chat and video calls.
- Assist other departments with technical tasks.
- Complete all training exercises assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma/GED.
- Previous technical support experience, deathcare industry experience or trade skill knowledge.
- Willingness to learn new skills and concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Flexibility in working from home or the Apopka, FL office.
- Ability to work overtime as necessary.

- Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; and talk, hear and see.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
