Holland & Hart’s corporate group is seeking to add members to its emerging growth practice in our Boise, Boulder, Denver, or Salt Lake City locations. Positions are available for attorneys with 3-6 years of legal experience.
This is an opportunity to participate in one of the most vibrant and fastest growing emerging growth markets in the country. Holland & Hart’s emerging company and venture capital practice would provide the qualified applicant with the opportunity to develop and grow within a highly sophisticated, busy practice involving the representation of venture capital funds and emerging technology, consumer product and life science companies in financing and M&A transactions, strategic partnerships and other corporate partnering transactions, outside general counsel and general corporate counseling, all with close proximity to world class outdoor activities including skiing, hiking, road and mountain cycling, climbing, fly-fishing and more in some of the country’s most livable cities.
Ideal candidates will have at least three years of experience working at a top tier law firm with emerging growth companies, venture capital funds and/or private equity funds in financings, acquisitions and day-to-day governance matters. They will also have a strong interest in pursuing a similar practice in the Mountain West region.
Compensation and Expectations:
Holland & Hart’s compensation is merit-based —you’ll be evaluated on your individual performance and achievements. As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Act, Holland & Hart is providing a good faith salary range for this position (if based in Colorado): $190,000 - $240,000. Our generous bonus program rewards financial contributions and hard work and associates are also eligible for fee splits.
Holland & Hart expects associates to invest 1,800 hours on billable matters, 75 hours of pro bono/public service work (or 50 hours of pro bono legal work), including at least 25 hours dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Contributions to the life of the firm is vital to the collective success of the firm, and we encourage our lawyers to engage in ways each person finds meaningful through various committees and firm activities.
