The Chairman’s Office Americas (COA) is supporting and coordinating our operating units, R&D centers, and representative offices across the Americas with corporate functions and services. Given our fast growth, we are constantly looking for talented new colleagues to become part of our team.

Tasks:

  • Contribute to the M&A transaction process from identification of potential targets to close, leveraging prior M&A knowledge and experience. Deep understanding of operational, accounting, tax, legal, regulatory, and human resource implications under a proposed transaction.
  • Coordinate with Business Unit/s and corporate teams to develop valuation models, including providing input on assumptions, levels of return, and strategic value of the proposed transaction.
  • Coordination of large and complex transaction teams, comprised of members from the business unit, corporate functions, and external resources such as outside legal counsel, consulting, and accounting teams. This role will need to ensure that the teams understand the transaction process and help the team identify and understand key issues and risks in the
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to the Business Unit leadership teams and members of the Executive Committee throughout the transaction, including updates on the transaction, leading discussions, and providing recommendations to resolve issues and presentations to the executive team requesting formal approval to proceed with the transaction.
  • Analyze and initiate deep dive projects for the group companies in the region, conducting workshops managing all stakeholders to identify bottlenecks, devise an action plan for improvements and track the progress thereafter targeted to increase profitability, returns, and cash flows.
  • Lead the turnaround projects starting the analysis from a financial analysis and thereby engaging all stakeholders at the plant to conduct root cause analysis based on Pareto, moderate the team to devise an action plan, and track its progress from a shareholder’s view.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly performance report for the companies in the region for the shareholders.
  • Analyze investment opportunities in terms of Greenfields, expansions, etc. from a 360-degree business view and flag the opportunities and risks in the business plan to assist the investment committee for approval.
  • Analyze and conduct the Budget review for the group companies in the region to identify key assumptions for under/ over assessment and drive the companies to align the budget with the group’s strategy.
  • Schedule and moderate Quarterly BOD meetings for all the legal entities in the region, tracking and analyzing the performance of the companies.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Finance, CPA or CFA or comparable qualification with business/financial background
  • 5+ years working in Corporate finance roles
  • International and public company transaction experience preferred
  • Automotive Industry experience preferred
  • Experience managing and working with third-party advisors, including financial advisors, law firms, accounting firms, and other consultants and advisors
  • Results-oriented with demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently, meet demanding deadlines, and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, namely PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good flexibility to travel, about 40%
  • High level of confidentiality
