BIG PICTURE:

The Human Resources Assistant performs daily data entry including but not limited to onboarding, new hires, terminations, user maintenance, recruitment, maintaining data integrity using audit processes and responding to team member phone and email inquiries related to recruitment and onboarding.

EDUCATION:

  • High School diploma required and at least 1 years of HR and/or Data Entry experience.
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Strong ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize.
  • Must also have strong reporting skills, attention to detail, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • High attention to detail and problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work under time constraints to ensure critical deadlines are met.
  • Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills to foster strong relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material.
  • Ability to work individually and in a team environment.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of professionalism and with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to meet the demands of the work schedule, to be at work and on time. May occasionally require the ability to work outside of regularly scheduled hours. Schedules may vary based on business need.

JOB DUTIES & FUNCTIONS:

  • Performs daily data entry including but not limited to onboarding, new hires and terminations
  • Ensures new hires are accurately setup in the HRIS system by referencing data across multiple venues.
  • Manages timeline to ensure all transactions are processed according to correct pay period requirements and guidelines.
  • Fields and responds to phone/email inquiries of other team members as it relates to data entry subject matter.
  • Ensures data integrity by completing audit processes as needed.
  • Prepares and updates accurate documentation of all data change processes.
  • Assists in training new managers on routine department processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.
