Job Summary
The Corporate Human Resources Partner will be responsible for engaging and retaining talent for our growing corporate footprint. This HR Partner will report to the VP, Human Resources and will partner with leaders and managers across Accounting & Finance, Compliance, HR, IT, Legal, Operations, and other corporate teams.

What you will do in this role

  • Coach, educate, and help project manage the performance management process for all NorthStar’s corporate teams including communication and change management around our performance management process and philosophy.
  • Partner closely with Talent Development to create and oversee a talent management framework for our corporate teams that include succession planning, assessment of potential, talent reviews, individual development planning, as well as diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Coach managers on Employee Relations related issues or concerns; support issue resolution including the support or facilitation of timely, effective communication.
  • Facilitate a process that allows department leaders and managers to drive action planning following the annual employee engagement survey and develop other retention and engagement strategies.
  • Partner with hiring managers to help ensure roles are scoped appropriately and create job descriptions for key openings; this includes supporting the development of career pathing and other related initiatives as appropriate.
  • Serve as the internal owner of visa administration across the organization, including corporate and clinical employees.
What qualifications you will need
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in Human Resources and/or related field(s)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with company-specific programs and software
  • Demonstrated project management with the ability to partner with diverse stakeholders to meet ambitious timetables, milestones, and deliverables
