PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Serve as the liaison between project engineers, subcontractors, customers, and the Accounting department regarding all job cost matters.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

  • Track labor, equipment, trucking and material cost based on foremans' timesheets
  • Contact vendors and suppliers to get up-to-date pricing on materials ordered by field personnel
  • Create weekly invoices for all work performed along with all required documentation
  • Work with project engineers to ensure that all work is billed accurately and completely
  • Set up new contracts with subcontractors
  • Update job cost reports weekly with quantity changes
  • Create subcontractor estimates for payment to subcontractors
  • Review and approve invoices for payment to vendors and suppliers
  • Track rental equipment on projects

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Entry level position. Educational and experience requirements include 4 year degree in Accounting or equivalent. Above average computer skills with knowledge in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel. The ability to assume responsibility and interface and communicate with others is essential.
