Thank you for your interest in the Courier position for the Mental Health Center of North Central Alabama. This position requires a good driving record. The locations mentioned under Duties and Responsibilities include Morgan, Lawrence, and Limestone Counties. A company car is provided for this position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Run the courier route between Mental Health Center of NCA locations on a daily basis. (Example of tasks: Perform vehicle inspection; collect outgoing mail, deposits, special delivery request items from each location; deliver collected items to the appropriate location and distribute, take deposits to the bank as needed, log odometer reading for vehicle.)

• ·Other errands and duties as assigned. (Examples of tasks: Provide general administrative support as needed.)

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION:

· Education: High school diploma or GED.

· Licensure: Alabama Driver’s License.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· Ability to work in a team environment.

· Maintain a clear motor vehicle report.

· In addition to the basic expectations for all personnel, the secretarial staff will practice positive guest relations and carry out those administrative functions that enable the clinical unit to meet its performance goals.

• Employees will be screened for tuberculosis prior to initiation of duties. Annual screening thereafter will occur only if there has been known exposure or evidence of ongoing tuberculosis transmission.

· Must be able to work in a cooperative manner with co-workers, supervisors, and other staff in the company.

· Performs other related duties as required. (Related duties as required are duties which may not be specifically listed in the duties and responsibilities description, but are within the general occupational series and responsibility level typically associated with the employee’s class of work.)

· Must be able to follow company policies and procedures.

· Must work the days and hours necessary to perform all assigned responsibilities and tasks. Must be available (especially during regular business hours or shifts) to communicate with supervisors, clients, vendors and any other person or organization with whom interaction is required to accomplish work and project goals.

· Must be punctual and timely in meeting all requirements of performance, including, but not limited to, attendance standards, work deadlines, and beginning and ending assignments on time.
